Recently, he was leading the pharmaceutical development facility of Rottendorf Pharma GmbH staffed with approx. 35 scientists and technicians over 3 years. During this time, he was also director of clinical trial manufacturing (CTM). The CTM organization under Dr. Ciper’s direction has passed through several customer and governmental inspections. His main interests lie in solid dosage form technology and modified release drug product development.
Dr. Ciper is a Pharmacist by training and has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany). Following post doctoral research at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) he joined Rottendorf Pharma in Germany in 2010 and moved to Pensatech Pharma in 2013.

Dr. Mathias Walther
Dr. Mathias Walther has over 13 years working experience with Pfizer Ltd. (UK) on the design and development of pharmaceutical controlled release products. He has served on or led various project teams in a variety of drug delivery and formulation areas from early development to commercial production and life-cycle-management. In addition, responsibilities included establishing innovative drug delivery technologies and reducing them to routine practice. Dr. Walther is a chemist by training and holds a doctorate degree in polymer chemistry from Albert-Ludwig-Universität Freiburg (Germany). Following post doctoral research at Cambridge University (UK) he joined Pfizer in the UK in 1998 and moved to Pensatech Pharma in 2012 as a co-founder.

Dr. Martin Körber
Dr. Körber has worked for more than 12 years on the characterization and understanding of controlled release products and their manufacturing processes for global pharmaceutical companies. He is experienced in the rational design of formulation technologies for the peroral and parenteral delivery of drugs.
Dr. Körber studied pharmacy and holds a doctorate degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany). He has worked for B. Braun Melsungen AG with responsibility for the pharmaceutical development of drug-eluting angioplasty products, including analytical developments, specification setting and process validation as well as the preparation / execution of regulatory approval processes before joining Pensatech Pharma in 2013.

Prof. Dr. Roland Bodmeier
Prof. Roland Bodmeier is Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the College of Pharmacy at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. He studied Pharmacy at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München (Germany), received a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Texas at Austin/USA and a Dr. rer. nat. habil from the University of Regensburg (Germany). He served as an Assistant/Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin (1986-1994) before he moved to his current position. His research focuses on innovative drug delivery systems with controlled drug release (peroral systems, biodegradable implants/microparticles, microencapsulation) and the delivery of poorly soluble drugs and has resulted in more than 200 publications and 35 patents/-applications. Prof. Bodmeier has graduated more than 50 Ph.D. students. His research has been funded by various public funding agencies and by dozens of major pharmaceutical, chemical and biotech companies. Prof. Bodmeier co-founded Pensatech Pharma in 2012.
